The first model of 2022 is here. And I call her Evelyn Cardigan . Since the release of the Alma T-shirt last year, I have received many requests for a similar outfit. But this time you asked for a sweater which also uses the croissant technique. It took a year, but it's finally here.

Did he give her the conceptual name "Alma's sister"? As in Alma's case, Evelyn worked in ranks from above. First the yoke is tied with a braid, then it is divided for parts of the body, then the lower part of the body is finished separately.

Although designed with numbers, the length is easy to adjust. And lastly, a croissant bracelet with the same croissant motif was added. The lower body is provided with several brief exercises with needles and a small invisible pouch that can be removed if desired.
In the process of testing with our test team, we came to the conclusion that very few comforts are the most suitable for this model. The sweater is designed to fit the bust at a height of 5-7.5 cm (2-3 inches) with positive comfort 2.5-3.5 cm (1 - 1) inches) at the top. If you wish, you can also opt for less comfort, personalizing your outfit.
The Evelin Cardigan is available in 10 sizes to fit 32 (34, 36, 38, 40) busts (42, 44, 46, 48, 50). Full bust (including comfort) 89.5 (94, 97.5, 103, 106.5) (112, 115.5, 126.5, 128, 133.5) cm / 35 (37, 38, 40, 40 , 40 , 40 , 4 , 2) 50, 50 , 52 ) inches.
The dotted pattern of the croissant imitates a fallen master, or perhaps the transparent wings of a dragonfly. I wanted to look very gentle, romantic, I thought it turned out well.

Thin yarn with a little fluff will work best for this design. I made some samples myself.
The first is made of Metropolis Ships yarn in two colors: 017 Multan 019 Marseille .
As another example, I also used the Metropolis thread as a contrast, but this time with Scheepjes Whirlette .
Whether I like it or not I like the lower body material that goes with the Whirlette is a strong combination, because the Whirlette is thinner than the Metropolis without the mosque. This can lead to a less clear definition of the croissant. But if you are adventurous, you can try these two threads together.
And my third design uses Ships Stardust yarn, something I've been wanting to try for a long time (color 656 Andromeda 654 Pisces ).
Stardust is mainly acrylic fiber (75%), mohair (11%), wool (11%) polyester metal (3%). The latter adds a silver or gold sheen. I was afraid this thread might scratch my skin a bit, but it worked fine for me. If you have very sensitive skin, you can check the floss at your local store before buying it.
The Stardust Monster is kind of a shiny version of my Evelin Cardigan. :)

As with any knitwear or knitwear, finding the right size is very important. The dimensions of the lower body hinges are different, though: care must be taken when passing from the lever to the wing splitter body.
The lower body works more slowly, so its size increases naturally. You may need to move to a smaller stroke to adjust.
