New Blanket Design with no name yet...
It took a little longer than I expected, but it finally arrived. My new blanket design is hexagonal. There’s no title yet, I want it to be unique, so any ideas are welcome.
This blanket is very simple, but elegant, even unlimited, I would say. I found an example of a nice woven dot that is repeated in some circles. It’s easy to remember that knitting is fun.
I am happy to choose the Scheepjes Metropolis thread, which has always been one of my favorites. The blanket was light, warm, with a wonderful veil.
It lasted almost 700 g (14 loads) and was approximately the same size. 160 cm / 63 inches with a 3.5 mm hook. Ideal for a night TV or a walk in the garden. The formation of the fabric reminds me of a flower, the rays of which will gradually grow until they become thin.
You can repeat the pattern yourself, repeating each section several times to get an even bigger blanket. It is filled with a small, delicate edge. And I imagine this blanket will be beautiful in any color.
