This weekend I wore a sweater design, worked on my mountain ash, looked at Super Bowl and made this new trophy for Ireland. I found a lot of posts about owl hats, so I wanted to add more details on this subject with more photos.
I made some of these hats, but not for Ireland. So I decided to go cheap and risk the low bandwidth you are using. It started out like a pig hat, but after I finished rooting it turned into an owl. He’s not a pig, but he still loves it. He has a pig hat on his head, I think I should do it anyway.

I also widened my eyes by adding a few circles. Big hat, big eyes.

I also changed the edges. I was looking for 2 colors and more finished edges. I have recently received suggestions on how to make the project more efficient and complete. Basically, for the edge, I always add pieces of the same color before switching to color contrast. If you change the color contrast on the side (for example on the sides of the headset) the edges may not be as clean as possible.
Then, for this hat, I added an extra circle with blue edges. I worked on the back loop to clear the pink and blue (is that a word?)
Also, try to spend more time between your eyes and nose to keep your face clean. As you sew, make sure your back is clean under the first seam of your hat. They are not confused in the project. And if you do not like the look of it, I will repeat it until it looks like I wanted it to.
