Another Year Goes Bye Bye

I have to say I'm happy to see 2011 go by. It's hard. I hope 2012 is better... I'm not trying to sound negative... I have high hopes for this new year. I've been looking for a new job for what now seems like forever. I had to believe something was going to happen. We also recently started looking for a new home in two hours and graduation classes will start next week. It looks like 2012 will be a busy year, but I appreciate the change. I need to change.

This blog is one of the good and not...the great things of 2011. I'm so glad I started writing this little diary. I wanted so much time. I'd like to look at the previous pictures and now I can look at the projects I've completed as well.

This is my last completed project. The Isar and Puff Stitch Scarf are now complete. Last year 2011. I love Izar... worn every day. My aunt loved it and made it exactly the same color. Technically speaking, the sash is the last project made in 2011.

I was about to do some modeling but am too lazy. I don't want to wear a tripod and put on makeup :)
This is a knit puffy scarf. It was thick and warm. I really enjoyed it.

You see, I still don't feel like putting on makeup and pretending :) (commenter is nice of me now)

I wish I had other projects for 2012...and other plans to share. I enjoy connecting with all of you as well as reading your comments and blogs. I don't have any smart friends here in my physical world, so seeing all of your projects makes me feel like I'm not the only person in the world who is obsessed with thread, hook, and needle. I'm not as weird as I thought.

Thanks to all my new crochet/knitr friends who took the time to visit and comment. May 2012 be a great year for everyone :)

I almost forgot... It's also a new month and that means a gift. Come here in a few days. I will post the January giveaway. This month I will present the actual item, not the model.
