This week I did three... I'm tired
A few cherry lovers have asked me if using the M or N hook instead of my favorite L hook would make a huge difference.
So here is the result...
The small one on the left has an L-shaped hook.
Middle hook M, e.g
Right side with N hook.
You can really see the difference above. N Hook vs L Hook I still prefer the L. The smaller basket is very sturdy and won't bend or move. It's so strong it can almost stand on the handle (I'm exaggerating a bit)
I just don't like how the other two have to be shaped to look like the photo... so I recommend the L hook.
I do it a little differently. I used the N hook and added 6 points to the body to make the snow more oval.

One more note.
To answer another question... When knitting rounds like baskets or hats, always remember that there is a right side and a wrong side. It's easy to turn the basket or hat upside down while doing so. Notice the difference in the appearance of the points.
As you knit, remember that when you knit, your stitch is always in front of you.
A lot of the baskets I've seen are actually misguided. If you look at the second photo in this post you can see the difference between the interior and exterior of the car. When you're done, the top of the last stitch loop should be facing out, not in. This way you can find out if you accidentally scrolled through the recycle bin.
