I made three more this week... I'm tired
Some knitters have asked me if it makes a big difference if they use an M or N hook instead of my favorite L hook.
So here are the results...
The smallest one on the left was made with an L-shaped hook.
Central with hook M and
The one on the right with hook N
You can actually see the top. N'amua vs La'amua. I still prefer L. The smaller basket is very strong and doesn't bend or move. It is so tight that you can almost stand on the handles (I'm exaggerating a little).
I don't like how the other two have to fit into the photos... so I recommend the L hook.
I did it a little differently. I used an N hook and added 6 more points to the body to make it more oval.

One more note:
To answer another question...when working in circles like these baskets or hats, always remember that there is a right side and a wrong side. It is easy to flip the basket or lid while brewing beer. Note the difference in the appearance of the dots.
When you score points, remember that the points will always be in front of you when you are on the right.
Many of the baskets I saw were upside down. If you look at the second photo in this post, you can see the cart inside and out. When you're done, the tops of the last round loop should be facing outward, not inward. So you will know that you accidentally overturned the cart.
