I love sharing updates on what I've been working on lately. This is a new pattern in a new crochet book called Big Hook Rag Crochet.
The book came out this week and I was pleased to receive a copy in the mail today.
This is a photo I took of the actual basket before I sent it to the shoot.
I know it looks like the original ombre basket, but it's actually a completely different style. The whole concept is different. I used a t-shirt to do it. All ideas for this book are explained in the title.
I love the book that includes various crochet designs. It's great to see it in print. I have been working on other projects this year that will be included in many other books.
But to celebrate, I'll give a gift. So stay tuned to find out more. I know I've been lazy lately, but these kinds of projects and deadlines keep me on my toes. This weekend I will be attending the Southeastern Animal Fiber Fair (SAFF) in Fletcher, NC (near Asheville). This is my first time at SAFF and I'm looking forward to it. I even took a spin class.
