Big Hook Rag Crochet
I'm happy to share some news about what I've been working on lately. The large hook is a new motif introduced in a new knitting book called Rag Crochet.
The book was published this week; I am happy to receive a copy in the mail today.
Here is a photo I took before I sent it to the photo booth.
I know it looks like the original Ombre Basketball, but it's actually a completely different model. The whole concept is different. That's why I wore the t-shirts. The whole idea of the book is expressed in the title.
I love a book that includes a variety of interlocking patterns. It's great to see it in print. I am working on other projects that will be included in many more books this year.
But I will make a gift to celebrate it. So stay tuned for more information. I know I've been slow lately, but these projects and deadlines have kept me busy. This weekend I am going to the South American Animal Fiber Fair (SAFF) in Fletcher, NC (near Asheville). This will be my first time in SAFF and I am very excited. I go to cycling classes.
