Ingredients
3 extra chunky yarn (I used Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick on linen)
Hook size L (8.0 mm).

A note on the ingredients:
I would recommend using super volume to create a hard or strong texture. If you are using a lighter weight, you will need to combine 3 or more strands.
Do not use large hooks. The seams should be tight to keep the basket stiff and lifted. Tighten the hook (but try not to hurt your hand). My next basket will be made of double hemp (the thick kind you can find at Walmart). This thing is the hand of a real killer. But it's the strongest you can use.

Note: You will have two streams together.
Do not turn when you have completed each movement. I enter at every turn. You can work in a continuous spiral if you want to remove the seams. (If you choose to do the no-sew version, I recommend working the bottom with a stitch then working the body in a continuous loop or spiral, marking the first stitch as you go)

Row 3: 2 ch, same ch, next ch, (2 ch next, m next ch) in the round. Enter mc. (24 HD)
Line 4: 2 chapters, p. even, izn.sled. 2 out., (2 out. next out., out. 2 next out.) in a circle. Enter mc. (32 HDC)
Row 5: ch 2, same ch st, next 3 ch stetan, (next 2 ch stn, next 3 ch stn) in a circle. Enter mc. (40 HDC)
Row 6: ch 2, ch in next 4 sts, (ch 2 in next st, ch in next 4 sts) in a circle. Enter mc. (48 HDC)
The next circle will be the first row of the basket body. You will work on the back of each HDC.
Row 7: ch 1, sc under the bottom line or the edge of the first row of the first row of the previous row. (Half of the double dotted stitch has a line or edge on the wrong side of the stitch.) You will be working below this line or peak and not in a normal loop.
This will leave two loop points
make a seam that separates the bottom of the basket and the body
Keep working. Pierre mc st.
Row 8: Chapter 2, purl over the next st and around each st. Enter mc.
Row 9: Ch 1, working only on the back st, all sts around the same st around the same st. Enter mc.
10th row: chapter 2, back. around st.n. and Art. Enter mc.

12th row: 2 ch, purl around each st and the next st. Enter mc.

15th row: ch 1, stbn also in the next 8 cs. Works under 8 sbn 7 vp (does not work point to point). Sc in next 19 sts Work under 8 sc 7 ch. EPIRB in the next 10 m.

I made a bigger basket... I prefer a bigger one (I added a photo to a bigger basket)
You will increase the funds in one step.
Lines 1-6: See instructions above.
Row 7: 2 ch, mma st is the same. Hdc in the next 5 sts (2 out. Next st, 5 out. Next st) in a circle, connect ss. (56 HDC)
8th row: knit under the back line or on the wrong side, sc in all the stitches around it. This loop creates a seam (described above)
I added 3 files to the cart body to get the biggest size. (If you want more detailed instructions on how to start and participate in each round, see the details of each round for the smaller basket)
Row 9: HDc Loop
10th row: sc circle
Row 11: Dc in back st only.
Lap 12: Hdc Lap
Tower 13: Tower mb
Lap 14: Hdc Lap
15th row: sc circle
Row 16: Sc for back ring only.
Chapter 17: 2 cats, htr in the next 9 points, 9 cats, 8 points behind, htr at 20 points, 9 cats, behind the next 8 points, htr in the next 9 points. Enter mc.
Row 18: sbn circle, knit 10 sbn in a 9 ch arc (no fri at all). Join and complete.
