I know I've been there lately. I am very late to blog and read my blog. Do-it-yourself projects exhausted me. I knit a little, but not too much. I have completed projects but can't share them yet. Today I'm sharing a DIY project that Michael, Ireland completed on Saturday.

There were so many empty seats in the living room, I thought a table would be perfect.

I found something I liked on Pinterest, and it went from there. Mikhail works with a man who has a sawmill, so we take firewood from him. On Thursday, Michael came home with about 7 long pine boards about 7-8 inches wide.

About a week ago I ordered raw steel bobby pins from hairpinlegs.com, Michael went to Lowes bought 2x4 nails, №10 sandpaper.

Friday morning Michael made a tire using a 2x4 and I went to Lowes to get a clean footpeg. I cleaned the untreated steel legs and sprayed them with a clear matte finish to protect them from rust. While I was working on the legs, Michael flipped the top board over and attached the frame to the board. Around 10:00 p.m. we started grinding ին At 11:00 p.m. we were ready to put a layer of Minwax Spar Poly on the table. I didn't have the usual Minwax Poly, as Spar Poly is preferred with a table to prevent water and food stains that stain the wood. In general, it seals better and lasts longer. The first layer of polyethylene is finished at midnight. That's why my photos are so bad.
