DIY Dining Table

I know I've been walking lately. I'm really late reading my blog and post. I am consumed by DIY projects. I did a little, but not a lot. I have some projects done, but I still can't share them. Today I am sharing a DIY project that Michael and I completed, Ireland on Saturday.

Dining table

We have plenty of space in the living room and I thought a table would be perfect.

I found my favorite on Pinterest and went from there. Michael works with a guy with a chainsaw, so we got some wood. On Thursday, Michael came home with a 7-foot [7-8 inch] pine plank.

About a week ago I ordered a steel tip from hairpinlegs.com and went to Michael Loyes and bought some 2x4 screws, sandpaper, and a #size. 10.

On Friday morning Michael made the frame using a 2x4 and I went to Lois for a clean leg coat. I scrubbed my steel feet and soaked them in a clean, dark coat to protect them from rust. While I was working on my feet, Michael turned the boards upside down and attached the frame to the boards. We started polishing around 10am and by 11am we were ready to put a layer of minwax pole on the table. I don't take the usual minwax rib because the poly-li spa is good for use with food water and food rings to prevent wood stains. It is well sealed and durable. The common column of furniture such as side tables, tables, etc.

We finished our first polyester coat in the middle of the night. This is why my photos are so bad.

Saturday morning we flipped the roof and tugged our feet... and we're scared!

It's not perfect at all, but that's why I like it so much. Love these legs (and what's really modern in the Middle Ages).

Final measurement:
78 inches
Width 36 inches
2.5 inches thick or deep

Materials:
Wood on top (we used five 7-8" boards
for tag 2x4
Screw 10 (2" long by 2.5" measured with the top frame)
sandpaper
28" (3 poles) standard four-legged felt
Backing polyethylene wax
Mat, transparent inside/outside (to cover the foot)

Used equipments:
Green cloth (for washing feet)
sander
sandpaper (several copies)
Saw (we used a meter saw)
exercises
And of course the bar

We still have to paint the bottom and put another layer of polyester on top. We plan to buy three Eames chairs on one side of the table and a hair chair on the other side.

I hope my next post is about a crochet project I haven't shared yet. I will ask for permission today and see how long I have to wait. I'm happy to share this with you, but I have to be patient.

Have a nice week!
