DIY Dining Table

I know I'm not around lately. I'm really behind my blog and blog. DIY projects tired me. I work a little, but not much. I have some completed projects, but I still can't share them. Today I am sharing the DIY project that Michael, Ireland and I completed on Saturday.

Dining table

We had plenty of space in the living room and I thought a table would be perfect.

I found some of my favorites on Pinterest and kept going. Michael works with a boy who has a sawmill, so we buy firewood from him. On Thursday, Michael came home with a 7-foot-high and 7-8-inch-wide candle board.

About a week ago, I ordered cast steel hair clips from hairpinlegs.com, went to Michael Loyes, and bought some 2x4, sandpaper, and #screw. 10.

On Friday morning, Michael made a frame using 2x4 and I went to Lois for a clean jacket. I polished the cast steel legs and covered them with a transparent matte varnish to protect them from rust. As I worked on my legs, Michael turned the board over and screwed the frame to it. At about 10 we start sanding and at 11 we are ready to put a spare layer of Minwax polyester on the table. I didn't get the usual mineral wax, because spa polyethylene is good to use with table water rings and food to prevent wood stains. Mostly well sealed and strong. Normal poly end table, coffee table and so on. mobile phone.

About midnight we finished Polly's first coat. That's why my pictures are so bad.

Saturday morning we turned ... and voila!

It's far from perfect, but that's why I love it. I love this foot (and something very modern in the Middle Ages).

Measurement completed:
Length 78 inches
36 inches wide
2.5 "thick or deep

Material:
Wood for the table (we used five 7-8 "boards)
2x4 to each frame
Screw number 10 (2 inches long because we measured 2.5 inches with the frame)
sand paper
Four 28 "(3 inscriptions) hairpin legs standard 28" table height.
Minwax spur poly
Inner / outer matte transparent coat (finger cover)

Tools used:
Green sponge (to wash feet)
Sander
Sandpaper (various sandpaper)
Saw (we used the sender's saw)
Drilling
And of course roulette

We still have to sand and put another layer of mud on top. We plan to buy three Eames chairs on one side of the table and a stiletto stool on the other side.

I hope my next post will be about a crochet project that I haven't shared. I will ask for permission today to see how long it will take. I'm very excited to share this with you, but I have to be patient.

I wish you a happy week!
