No, this is not my PIP. I will post this hat pattern when requested. This is a great hat for beginners...or those who love fluffy crafts :)

I made this hat a year ago and put it on Etsy. I took the one in the photo and used it twice last winter. Sometimes I get comments on Etsy asking how to do this. I have never written this hat because it is very easy to write. You can't call it a real model... I don't know... it's so easy to call it a model.

I thought there were plans for something like that, so I never intended to write. Well, when someone asked me how to do it, they sent me another message, so I decided to go ahead and post it here.

This shield is very simple. The easiest hat you can make is this one. These tips are good for everyone...especially beginners. It's a mindless creature... which means it doesn't need a literal mind. I am addicted to television. I like to sit and eat vegetables in front of the TV at night after I get some sleep. Of course, I always watch (or try to dress up) while watching TV.

Note. I try to include the most relevant topics in my projects. I like being able to buy yarn at the supermarket where we all shop. Of course, I love my local yarn store and buy from it more than anywhere else, but for many, a big chain is very affordable.

I like my way of improving the starting line... Chap. 87 and start chain before joining.

Round 1: Working on the back rib of the chain, place HTR on the hook in the 3rd chain stitch, HTR on each chain until finished. Join SL at the top of First Street.

You take the first tail and attach it to the other side. This method eliminates the need to twist the starter circuit.


If you decide to go the traditional route...

87 ch, attach sl-st to original ch (be careful not to twist chain)

The hat shown below is the same, but I used a much worse thread...Paton thread I think. The difference is only in the number of stitches in each row, and I added a few extra rows. I used an I hook (5.5mm). I gave him this hat as a gift, so I don't know how many threads there are.

So there's a lot you can do with this basic plan. You can use a larger yarn for a thicker, warmer hat, or a lighter yarn.

Look how easy it is. I can't call it a model.
