Effortless Cowl
No, this is not my PIP. Public if you need this model. This is a great hat for beginners... or for those who like soft and knitting :)
I made this hood a year ago and posted it on my Etsy shop. The one in the photo was, of course, salvaged and taken several times last winter. Sometimes I get comments on Etsy asking how to do it. I haven't written yet because it's too easy to write a schema for this currency. You can't really call it a real model... I don't know... it seems too simple to call it a model. I thought there was already a template for such a thing, so I didn't even think about writing one. Well, someone emailed me again and asked how to do it, so I thought I'd go ahead and post here.
This hat is very simple. This is the simplest clock you can make. These instructions are great for everyone...especially beginners. It's a brainless creation... which means it literally requires no mental skills. I'm a TV fan. I like to sit and eat at night in front of the TV after the baby sleeps. Sure, I crochet (or try to make a sting) while watching TV. So if you're like me... you'll love it. You can do it in minutes or hours.
Like I said... it's very simple and straightforward... so go for it.
Note: I'm trying to include the most accessible thread in my framework. I love that we can all buy yarn in the big stores where we shop. Sure, I love my local thrift store and love shopping there more than anywhere else, but for many people, the big stores are the most affordable.
ingredients
3 wires high. I use a 6-story cable like Lion Brand Hometown or Thick and Quick.
M . girlfriend
thread needle
To measure
Not so important for this type of project
Note: loose points. I receive messages and comments about sizes. If you're doing a tight stitch, try to release the tension so that the bell pulls in a tight and snug fit.

Example
I prefer my method of working with initial strings... Chapter 87, and beginning of Chapter. before entering.
Row 1: Work with the back end of the chain, placing sc on the 3rd chain stitch from the hook, sc on each hook all the way to the end. Connect the SL to the m at the beginning of the first st.
Take the first tail and you will meet the other side. This method will allow you to avoid worrying about starting string winding.
If you decide to go the traditional route...
87 fol, first connect the gs to the fol (be careful not to twist the string)

Line 1: 2 sec (counts as first ring). At the last edge of each chain in the hst, connect the gs at the beginning of the st.
2-14. rule: 2 chats, about pt per dc. Join SL among the first. End.
I do my job while the shift continues. I don't go every shift. This will give you a one-part clock... but won't be perfectly aligned at the start and end. (not really showing)
If you're bored, you can earn every point or change the look of the HDC completely by working with the HDC back comb. This road looks absolutely amazing. I want a picture of the results of this point.
The hat below in the photo is the hood itself, but I used a common thread ... Lana Paton, I think. The row difference is only in the number of loops and air loops and I added a few rows. I used an I-latch (5.5 mm). I gave this hood as a gift, so I'm not sure about the thread count.
So you can do a lot with this basic model. You can use a large wire for a very thick hot bell or a lighter orphan wire.
See how easy it is. I can hardly mention it often.
Enjoy... my PIP is on its way, really.
