Hexagon Pattern
I have at least a half dozen projects. Since I have ADD crochet, I decided to start with something else. I love hexagons and decided to make my own pattern.
Each of them requires quite a bit of yarn, so I can use all these skeins.
Ingredients
Wool of your choice (I used a poor weight)
Hook size G (4 mm)
We knit the last needle of the thread
Measurement
Approximately 3.25-3.5 inches (depending on voltage)
Model (US terminology)
Connect Ch 4, sl st, loop
1st row: ch 3 (counts as the first stbn), in the ring 11 stbn. Be sure to work out the initial tail. Join sl st on the first penny. Pull firmly on the tail to close the opening. (12 mine)
2nd row: ch 3, sc in same st, ch 1, (next 2 sc, ch 1) approx. Join SL over 1st st. (24 dk and 12 h-1 room)
Row 3: sl-st in first ch-1 sp. 3 ch, sc of the same thickness, 3 ch, 2 sc of the same thickness. 2, but in the next cat sp. (2 a, 3 ch, 2 a sig cat-1 sp-, 2 a sig ch) approx. Merged with SL St. space ch-3 SL st ends. (This will prepare you for sewing the hexagons together.) Trim off the tail, leaving a few inches for the seam.
When sewing, sew the yarn to the back of the hexagon. Sew from point to point. (will be 10 points)
I like to use sewing glue. Make sure after you sew the threads together that you weave at least 3 inches into your work to secure the ends.
Just a note: this is a really simple pattern, nothing complicated, so if anyone else is like this or something... it's completely random.

If you have any questions feel free to ask. I will try to answer.
Happy Holidays!
