Just Another Sock Monkey Hat Pattern
All week I want to write, not talk about how much fun in my life and how much fun I have. But I have one thing... my life is very boring. I have nothing to blog about. I'm on Twitter and I'm only talking about expertise. Looks like I really want to live :D
With that in mind, I decided to post a sample sock monkey hat. I used other styles to make this hat and they all look great. But this time I decided to make this hat with a completely new pattern. I love my labels and the way I do things.
Ingredients
1 bulk rope (I used Jeffie Brand Lion Yarn in Camel Spray)
Red, white and some black thread.
H&I size hook
thread needle
2 buttons
The size
The image size is suitable for children from 4 to 12 years old.
This model is easy to fit any size.
I use a lot of scales. If you choose to use very heavy weights, you will wear a child size hat.
I forgot to measure it before you mailed it, but I waited a bit. If they are well woven, the hat will suit adults.
Example
Hook and White Chapter 3
Rnd 1: 7 with hdc hook 3 (from first CH) with top loop with sl st. Join. (8 HDCs)
2 row: 2 ch (in some places the first embroidery is considered). HDC is similar. each st. about 2 GDK. Combine with sl cents. (16 HDCs)
Rnd 3 appears Ch 2. Hdc on the same street, hdc on the next. (2 dcs in next st, dcs in next st) approx. Combine with sl cents. (24 HDCs)
Rnd 4 dies Ch 2, same hdc st, next 2 seconds HDC. (2 PSSN in the next st, PRSP in the next 2 st). Combine with sl cents. (32 HDCs)
Rnd 5 dies Ch 2, same hdc st, next 3 seconds HDC. (2 dc in the next st, dc in the next 3). to come in. (40 HDCs)
Rnd 6 dies Ch 2, same hdc st, next HDC 4 st. (2 psn in the next st, psn 4 nearby).

Rnd 7 dies Ch 2, same hdc st, next HDC 5 st. (2 dc in the next st, dc in the next 5). to come in. Its end. (56 points)
Combine SL St and ch 2. Use Hdc for the next st and for each red 8 st. Its end.
Using camel circle 9, connect to sl st and ch 2. Hdc around the next st and around each st. Combine with sl cents.
Rows 10-17 Rows 2 ch, connect PRSN, sl-st around each st. Don't finish
headphones
Ch 1, same single crochet and next 10 sts, turn (11 cm)
ch 1, 2sc together, next 9sc, turn (10 cm)
1 ch, 2 stbn together, the next 8 stbn, a row (9 cm)
Repeat this subtraction method until you close the dots.
Second headset
Keep the flap to the right and skip 17 sts from the first row of headphones.
From SL and 1 ch. On the same st and next 10 sc, turn. (11 square meters).
Do this with the same headset as the first time, but do not throw it away after completing the last row.
They form a DC circle around the cap. Make 11 squares on each side of the lid and 3 squares on each corner. Its end.
Leave enough tail to use as a loophole in any corner, and connect it with red thread. Draw a line around the hat. Don't forget to place 3 squares in each corner. Finish leaving enough tail to use as a hack. (I like the way weaving ends)
Mouth
Chapter 14
Row 1: Sc in the 2nd ch fork, sc in the next 11 ch, 3c in the last ch. Sbn works on the other side of the chain. 2sec at the end of the chapter. Don't join.
2 seconds for the first row of the 2nd row, 2 seconds for the next 11, 2 seconds for each of the next 3 seconds. Next 12 Next stitch 2 square meters wide, do not mix.
3rd row first 2 sts, next 14 sts. 2 sc in the next 3 sts, the next 14 sts. 2 square meters

Ear
Switch to H to connect 2 strands of camel spray. serious crisis

Row 1 P7 7 PSN Turn the latch to the 3rd ch. (8 HDCs)
2nd row out of 2 ch, 1 st psn, 2 psn in st. (16 HDCs)
Let the tail be big enough to sew on and bounce
braid
Cut nine strands on each side. There should be no more than 1 rope on one side (first and last end)
Make apple paste and stick it on top of your hat.
Open the eyes and mouth of the hat, using the photo as a guide. When sewing, sew only the top seam of the hat to keep the back looking neat and tidy.
Use red to bring a smile. I played it twice to make it look the way I wanted. I did this after everything was in place. I put each end of the tail at the bottom of the camel hat. (If you don't like this method, you can always make a smile with a needle. The smile is done on an Irish hat.
