Life outside of crocheting
Apparently, I haven't been blogging much lately. I don't even knit and weave. Of course I wanted to, but I decided against it. Other things have become more important in the last 6 months.I recently read a blog and noticed a habit that I do all the time. I'm a little sorry I'm sorry for not posting or reading enough from my blog friends or creating a new designer to share. I decided not to apologize anymore! There are things in my life that take up a lot of my time and I can't find the time or balance my time to include blogs in everything else. I want my daughter to grow up knowing that I was present in her life, in whatever activity she chose. I don't want you to look back and think. Don't get me wrong, I like to be the most confusing. But I never found the balance. To be honest, the priority for me now is presence and activity in family life. So now I'm going to share a little bit of what I've been up to for the past few months. I must say that I was not able to knit or knit as much as I wanted, but I am happy and proud of everything I was able to do.
Last year, when the school year started, Ireland decided to join the Girl Scouts... But there was a big problem. There were no Brownie troops in our area. There was a corps of cadets there, the commander of their troops told me that if my mother didn't step in and form a new corps, there would be no troops to join Ireland. So guess what... I became the leader of a whole new group of Daisies, Brownies and Juniors. Junior left, they became the Daisy/Brownie company. From September to the end of the academic year we have organized meetings, events, cookies. Ireland and the other girls had a lot of fun.
These are my girls... not cute... I love them.
This winter we set up cookie stands
Earned some badges - fun patches
We went to the movies, the trampoline, pizza and other events. In a few weeks we're going to see "The Secret Life of Pets." We will have a search break in September.
Ireland has also joined the county swim team. He's always been a pool kid, so I thought he might like to be on the team.
I think he's having fun, but he gets disappointed if he doesn't finish first or second. I constantly remind him that it is better to improve as a swimmer, learn more and improve your time. But I think there is nothing more motivating than winning. It is very difficult to work full time, go to the pool 4 days a week, try to travel to the countryside for meetings, but the season ends in two weeks.
I did too. I'm sorry I can't knit or knit anymore, but I'm happy with what I've decided to do.
I'm still knitting the same pair of socks I put on about two months ago. I am also working on a hanging basket column. He will come soon. I do not promise more, but I am motivated to finish this post thanks to my collaboration with Lion Brand. I am very excited because I love using LBY.
Have a nice weekend.
