Minnie Mouse Ears
Last week at school I thought I'd share a Minnie Mouse bandage I made for Mickey Mouse Day in Ireland.
I followed a clear pattern for the ears and the bow. You can find it here All about Ami. The only change concerns the bandage. I don't play the band. I used black tape and sewed the ear directly on. I used a narrow band, but ear weights fit better with a wider band.
The ears are completely round. Upper left ear damaged or slightly broken, looks a bit dirty.
Don't you like all the squares in the background? They are everywhere. I tried cropping it from the image. Which brings me to the whole home buying/changing test. It was really an experiment.
We did not buy it for the first time. The first time it was very easy. This time it was not so easy. Our initial closing date comes and goes (around October 15). There were a few minor issues with the test that were fixed...except for a not-too-little radon solution. So we have to extend the contract. We are now waiting for the lender to rewrite the loan and then set a new closing date. You are so slow. I hope we can move in at least a few weeks before Christmas.
Michael went crazy (and tried to rent again) and I got tired of all the boxes. I have to take off my winter clothes. I'm starting to lose my temper. At least while we waited, I could occupy my brain with more sensory projects. Maybe I can finish Ripple in time to use it on our new sofa :)
