Our Visit to an Alpaca Farm

Last Sunday we visited Peaceful Heart Alpacas in Fancy Gap, Virginia. This is a small farm with a wool shop. I love this picture and should have shared it first.

First we go to the store where we meet the owner. A room in the store supplies natural fibers and yarn from farmed alpacas.

Another room in the shop is filled with alpaca yarn from The Alpaca Store and Plymouth Yarn (not farm alpacas).

I think Ireland is having a great time and looking forward to going out and meeting the alpacas.

And finally we got out

Aren't they just great? Look at Sweet Brown... I can't remember all their names.

Alpacas are so curious. They didn't really care about caresses and caresses, but they kissed. I also found that alpacas only have bottom teeth...no top teeth...very attractive

The black one below is Maximus... I remember his name. She was interested in the smell of Irish hair. They are such cute animals. I believe there are 45 to 50 alpacas on the farm.

I think Ireland would have preferred goats...they were big. I like taking them to new places to experience new things.

After leaving the farm we decided to go shopping and eat something. We participate on the Blue Ridge Parkway. In winter we like to go to the mountains... View from the viewing platform below. (If I really had a camera)
