Did I make this poncho last year or last year? I do not remember.
I posted it on Ravelly a few months ago and somehow forgot about it.
I love the light air feeling when I wear it. I thought I'd dig in this week and get to work.
The project is quick and easy. Very cramped and unobtrusive in photos.

Crook is very free.
Using a large, lightweight wire hook is a bit awkward, but it can create an open design project. Swipe up for a closer look at the dots.

Working in the back row
1st row Cut out the 2nd hook. Sc during each CH. Chapter 1, turn
2nd row Sc Sc Sc Sc each cross. Chapter 1, turn
Repeat 2 rows until the desired width fits your body. I quit after 50 lines.
Finish by leaving the tail 12 inches wide.
Fold the piece in half. Start by adjusting the top (not the side edges) using the tail.
It is about 4 or 5 inches wide. End.
Weave all the ends. The pieces may be small, but the combination is too long (poncho photo not attached)
Don't worry about being spoiled. This design can change in many ways. I used 3 thread mode for photo size, but you can use any thread you want. I like the light weight for it.
