Sea Shell Project
My current project will be interesting. I am making a wedding bouquet for myself.
Michael and I finally decided to get married. Most people think we've been married before, but we haven't. We've been together for 6 years and just decided to make plans. Once I was already married and this time I wanted to do things differently... so my bouquet will not be traditional.
In September we are going to the Outer Shallows (Hatteras Island) on business...hahaha. Of course, the ceremony only takes place on the beach. There will only be a few family members... so I think that's almost the way to retreat.
The shells upstairs are mostly the ones we found on a previous vacation to the Outer Shores...Acrococ and Gateras...so I was dying to use them in a bouquet.
My favorite color is turquoise, that's why I use it at weddings. (Speaking of turquoise, I'm looking for a white and turquoise amber effect dress, but to no avail.) The bouquet will include starfish and turquoise necklaces.
I look forward to this project.
Speaking of turquoise, I think I'm going to knit a little cape or shawl for the bride. I don't want to dress all in white.
A bouquet of inspiration...
and that... but of course I add colors
and that... they are all so beautiful and different
All of these images were found via Pinterest and pinned to my beach wedding bulletin board. I believe I contacted the original source.
I really hope to be able to focus on this project because as a source of inspiration I really want my look to resemble what is shown in the photos.
I keep you updated.
Sorry I haven't crocheted but I'll be posting something crocheted soon.
I wish you a good week!
