Slow Progress and a Box of Goodies

I'm still working on the Irish blanket

I'm trying to be creative with Square which makes this project slower than my choice. Who am I kidding? Even if all the boxes were the same, it would be a slow project for me.

I decided to add some mini boxes. We have Disney on our minds (planning a trip later this year)

I do this a little differently than other mood crochet projects. I've noticed that some people make their boxes based on the mood of a particular day or week and then pick them up. I do the same thing in different ways. I've placed it where I think it's best. So is this really a knitted mood blanket? I do not know.

Knitting socks is fine. Now I'm at the end of the first. I hope I'm still inspired to finish second.

Earlier this week I received a package from a Ravelry exchange that I attended.

I love it. I've collected 3 rolls of light yarn, crochet pins, candy, handmade soap, buttons, sock patterns, notebooks, postcards from Minnesota, woven kitchen towels...even some for Ireland. Knit or Crochet Best Friend, Right?
