A few weeks ago I mentioned working with the new thread, but couldn’t go into detail. I’m working on a major project with Spud & Chloe and now I’m going to write a post about my experience with this cute thread ... as a brief overview.
I have a few thin skins with a thread or weight out of a sock and I decided to take them to my lys to turn them into balls. Wanted to introduce Ruth to the owner. He did not wear a rope, and I knew he would be interested to see, hold and touch. Ruth was busy with other clients, so she asked me about conspiring with the wind.
I started throwing the ball and was amazed to see that there was not a single crack between the skin or the skin. Great for our knitters. We all know how annoying it is to buy threads and deal with breakages and knots when working on a project.
I have to say that my experience with this thread has been great. First, I like the weight. I like to work with a thin or thick finger. You can use socks, clothes, bikinis, bags, anything. I think it is also suitable for dresses like sweaters. You will not get a heavy or hard dress with a sock thread.
The textures of Spood and Chloe Fine / Sock are very nice. It is very soft to the touch. Michael (my other half) also said oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo can you imagine a man who doesn’t crochet or weave who appreciates yarn ... how funny as well?
There are no thin / thick spots on the skin. It is suitable for every skin. Remember, I’m working on five skins, not one. Everyone is consistent.
Another important feature is the section. We all know how unpleasant it is to weave from split yarn. This can really slow down the hook. There is no section with this branch.
The colors are also beautiful. I don’t think my little photography skills or photography can convey color.
As you can see, I love this theme. I will definitely be using it again. I really hope my LYS will one day become a leader.
