The Jewelry Display...At Last

The jewelry display case is almost ready...

I still need to add hooks to finish adding the earrings. This tray isn't big enough for all my jewelry, so I think I'll have to get another tray and make another display for it.

I added hooks on the side for the necklaces...just need to add more (and the necklace). I was very impatient to get to this post ;)

I'm not sure if I want to add hooks at the end. I think I'll just save it for the next show.

this is how i did it

It started like this...

Michael sprayed a primer coat when using this paint...two cans

between coats

I then added hooks and ear hooks found at Lowes. To make the hole I used a sharp knife with a sharp point and then just twisted my fingers with it. My fingers were sore from this so I had to drill a few holes every day for a few days.

I am very happy that it is done. I think next week we'll do some antique hunting to get another tray :)
