This weekend I noticed a little project...
colored tie!!!
I went to bleach my hair on Saturday and ran into Thanksgiving. The color palette of the tie caught my eye so I had to stop. I was planning to buy a pair for myself and Ireland, but the ladies at Partyes2dye4 convinced me to make a pair myself.
I had never done a shirt with a tie before and I thought it would be very difficult. I had the easy part. The ladies there did bends, rolls and bungee. I applied the dye to the shirts. They then took it home and left it in their bags for 6 hours. Ireland and I then rinsed and tossed the wax for 2 full washes and then dried.
The Irish design is a heart. I think it looks great.

They turned out much better than I expected. I certainly hope they don't fade too much. Does anyone have any ideas how to keep the colors bright? Every time I buy a knotted leg, it fades a lot. The ladies told me not to fade. I hope you are right.
Maybe I should try the whole process myself. I would love to have another shirt in pink and purple or blue and green.
Today I'll be working on the pink panda model... I shuffled my feet over it; D
