Winter Scandi MAL. Part 1: Embossed Mandala
Welcome to the first part of the long Winter Scandy. As announced, each of the three styles uses a new argument method and we will create a mandala published today. Technically, this model is not fully developed, but it uses some emerging elements with standard craftsmanship to gradually introduce the technique.

If this is the first time you've heard of Winter Scandi MAL, check out this article from last week . To sign in, you will need to order templates via Ravelry HERE andEtsy HERE and new templates will be automatically added to your library on a weekly basis. If you've already purchased a template, refresh your library and the Mandala Simulator instructions are there to protect you.
What is a sealed sweater? Inspired by nature, it is a technique used to combine the front and back points of shapes (usually leaves). If you do a quick search for an online sewing knot, you will see a lot of floral designs. My Embossed Mandala also uses curved lines but without swollen leaves. And I think this method can be more than just leaves and foliage. The front and back seams can be used for larger texture cuts.

After the announcement of Winter Scandi ML , I received a lot of messages about the number of threads. My idea is to use your repository for these projects. The templates you receive during MAL are versatile and can be used for a variety of projects. It depends on the type of thread you choose and the weight and size of the needle used.
Today’s packaged mandalas can also be made from chairs, wardrobes, pillows and rugs. I’ve done two projects to show you.
This is an American space saver, made of 100% Scheepjes Legacy cotton thread (# 8 and color 089) with 3 mm hooks. After radiation, the diameter is about 34 cm. Adequate quantity for a regular meal.

You can use a new thread for each mandala to add color and fun to your table. My only recommendation is to use a strong colored thread (or a long degradation thread, like Scheepjes Whirl ). Textures are key components here, and you don't want to be distracted by too many colors or threads.

And another project I want to show you is a big pillow made with the monkey Shepjes Chunki (100% premium acrylic pilling effect) and a 5 mm hook. You will need 4 balls for the mandala. I made two of them in different colors and combined them with a crochet crochet stick. Reverse display.
Using a thin thread (like DK or Worsted) and a small hook will make your pillow a little smaller. And with big threads you can make a beautiful rug.
