Winter Scandi MAL. Part 3. Overlay Mandala
Hello and welcome to the last chapter of the Scandinavian Winter Games. I hope you enjoyed the previous section with the relief mandala and the pillow sandwich. And today we will knit a small crochet pattern.

Crochet is one of my favorite knitting techniques. It may seem complicated, but it's not that hard to master since you only use one color at a time.

In the classic overlapping mandala, you break the wire and weave the ends after each turn. But for this craft, I developed a small pattern without cutting the thread. Thus, on the other hand, small floating wires can be seen.

This mandala will be a support or colorful hanging decoration. You can even stop at some point and reduce your motivation. You can create several mandalas of different sizes, in pairs (of the same size), together, etc. Therefore, they would make a beautiful decoration for a Christmas tree or wreath.

Small mandalas also make perfect last minute gifts or special pieces to collect gifts.
I made a coaster set using Sheep Catona yarn and a 3mm crochet hook. As you can see, I can not stop and do three more patterns. And they bound it together in wooden beads and a wreath of pom poms.
The caliber of this model is not important, nor is the image. Immerse yourself in your storage space and choose leftovers in three colors.
I hope you will have fun! If you have not yet signed up, you can now buy three designs HERE on Ravelry andHERE on Etsy .
