A Long Weekend
Last weekend was long. Today is the first real day of our week. Ireland is back in kindergarten today after falling ill. If you read my last post, remember the short ski trip without skiing. Well, I took Ireland to the doctor on Monday and found out he had belts. So we stayed at home for two days.
I was trying to find something fun for us and after we left the doctor's office we went to the store to buy something to keep us busy...glitters, puzzles, stickers, new nail polish (because we have 40 bottles. Not enough for everything :D) and fast food (for me ... tehe). Oh...I can't forget the new princess cup because she must have had one...below was a sequin and a little princess. How to refuse a sick child? She insisted I take a picture of her new mug, glitter, and nail polish.
I spend a lot of time on Pinterest. Yes, that sounds pretty crap to me, BT seems not to me either. One of my paintings relates to projects I want to try. So I thought it was time to give these a few a try. Instead of just sitting around pressing all the time, I should try to use all of Pinterest. Here's the first picture. I researched some threads and discovered some of my favorite colors.
One day I tied these textbooks to a friendship bracelet...I thought I'd make some.

Ha-ha-ha... That's all I can say about this idea. I had no idea what I was doing. It is very embarrassing...
Very beautiful colors. I inherited this thread from my late grandmother along with other threads and hooks. I was finally excited to use it to my advantage in this sense.
What a disaster
In this I have failed completely. I thought it would be easy. Ireland quickly lost interest. It was very difficult for a four-year-old.
So I took the bad leads for training.
Not as good as you can see. I definitely don't make friendship bracelets. The chevron pattern totally confused me. Any suggestions from all talented friendship bracelet makers are welcome. I need a lot of training.
