I mentioned a few weeks ago that I was working on some new threads, but I couldn't go into details. I’m working with Spud & Chloe on a major project and now I’m writing a post about my experience with this sweet thread ... a kind of little review.
I decided to take a thin thread or sock and take it to my LYS to make the ball. I wanted to introduce owner Ruth. He doesn’t hold the thread and I know he’ll be eager to see it, hold it and touch it. Ruth was busy with other clients, so she hired me for quilling.
I started shooting with the ball and was amazed to see that not a single mushroom had a single break. Very good for our crochet hooks. We all know how frustrating it can be to buy a thread and deal with breakage and knots while you are working on a project.
I must say that I have a lot of experience with this subject. First of all, I like the weight. I like to work with fine thread or weight. You can use it for anything ... socks, clothes, bikinis, bags, anything. I think it’s also suitable for clothes like jackets. You don’t end up with a heavy or sturdy thread dress.
Really the texture of the fine sock of fir and clo. He was so calm that Michael (the other half of me) murmured and got angry. Can you imagine a guy who doesn't like crocheting or loves to be praised with a thread ... really stupid?
There are no thin / thick stains on the threads. It is consistent in every scene. Remember, I’m working on five scenes here, not just one. Each of them is stable.
Another important feature is separation. We all know how frustrating it is to crochet with different threads. Hooks can really slow you down. There is no section on this topic.
The colors are also pretty. My idea is that my little photography or photography skills don’t give me the right color.
You can tell I love this topic. I will definitely use it again. I really hope to put my LYS somewhere in the future.
