A few weeks ago, while in Ireland, Michael and I went to the Carolina Fiber Festival in Raleigh. I wanted to go there for several years but never did. It's a fairly small festival, but it still packs in a lot of fiber and work.

I bought an itinerary for a tour of Ireland

and some wool. It was a good day and really motivated me to do SAFF. When we got home in October, I booked a hotel in Fletcher, NC (near Asheville) for the Southeast Animal Fiber Show.
