With that in mind, I decided to release a model of the Sock Monkey hat. I used other designs to make these hats and they all came out great. But this time I decided to make this hat with a completely new pattern. I love my little labels and the way things are done.
MATERIALS
1 thick thread (I used Liff Brand Jiffy on Camel Spray)
Red, white and slightly black thread
hooks of sizes H and I.

The size in the photo corresponds to 4-12 years.
This template is easy to modify to fit any size.
I used a lot of weight. If you choose to use a low weight, you will end up with a baby or toddler hat.
I forgot to take a pressure gauge before sending, but I tightened it a little. If you knit more loosely, the hat will fit adults.

1 ch, 2 sc tog, work the next 9 loops, turn (10 sc)
1 chapter, 2 stations together, mark the next 8 stations, convert (9 stbn)

Work this cap the same way as the first one, but don't finish it when you finish the last row.
You will work sc on each side of the hat. Distribute 11 sc on the sides of each headset and 3 sc on each corner. finance.

Second row: ch 2, sc in first round, 2 sc in each st. (16 HDC)
Finish by leaving a tail long enough to sew.
locks
Cut nine threads on each side. There should be more than 1 string on one side (beginning and end of the tail).
Prepare the pom-pom and sew over the hat.
Sew the eyes and mouth to the hat using the photos as a reference. When sewing, sew only the top layer of the hat stitches so that the back looks neat and tidy.
Draw a smile in the mouth using red. I played it a couple of times to make it look the way I wanted. I did this after everything was built right. I tucked each end of her tail into the bottom of the camel hat. (If you don't like this method, you can always smile with a needle. Here's how to laugh at the pictures of the Irish hat. Then I removed it and used the double crochet stitches. It looks even and regular.)
