My Little Hello Kitty Fanatic

I decided it was time to make a new Irish hat.

Ireland has a gray and pink sock monkey hat that she wears all the time. I made it for her last year and I'm tired of seeing her wear it every day. Don't get me wrong, I love that she loves it and wants to wear it. I just want to see it in something new. Since she's a Hello Kitty fan, I started making this hat for her last week.

When I was almost done, I showed him… I couldn't help it. Guess what he said... I want a pig's hat. Grrrr.... (I remember in the past he told me he wanted a pig's hat) I didn't let that comment stop me. I stitched up the ears, face and mustache and showed them. At the time, she was warming up to owning a Hello Kitty hat and was super excited.

Now he loves it and tells everyone that he saw his mother making hats for him. It makes me happy.

I'm still thinking about the pig hat. Maybe... maybe next year.

After making Elise 's scarf, I decided to make another scarf with Nuru (Uughh, that's another post for another day). Looking for a good model... any suggestions?

I'm currently writing a Hello Kitty hat pattern :D
