Our Visit to an Alpaca Farm

Last Sunday we visited the Peaceful Heart Alpacas in Fancy Gap, Virginia. It is a small farm with a wool shop. I like this picture and it should have been shared first.

First we went to the store, where we met an owner. In one of the store's premises, natural fibers and yarns made from an alpaca farm are presented.

Another room in the store is filled with Alpaca yarn from The Alpaca Store and Plymouth Yarn (not the farm Alpaca).

I think Ireland had a great time, looking forward to going out and seeing the Alpacas.

Finally we got out

Alpacas is very curious. They didn't care that they were caressed and stroked, but they agreed. I also learned that Alpacas has only lower teeth ... and no upper teeth ... very interesting

The black boy below is Maxim ... I remember his name. He was interested in the scent of Irish poetry. They are such beautiful animals. I think there are 45 to 50 alpacas on the farm.

I think Ireland liked goats ... they were his size. I love taking her to new places to try new things.

After leaving the farm, we decided to go to the forest for shopping and food. We took part in the Blue Ridge Parkway. We love to walk in the mountains in winter ... The view below opens from one view. (I like to have my own camera)
