The Jewelry Display...At Last

The jewelry display is almost ready...

I still have to add eyebrows to finish off the earrings. This tray isn't enough for all my jewelry, so I guess I should take another tray and do another display.

I added hooks on both sides of the necklace...I just want to add more (and a necklace). I wasn't impatient to do this before this article ;)

Not sure I want to add hooks below. I think I'll save this for the next show only.

This is how I did it

I started like this...

When using this paint, Michael sprays a layer of primer... two bowls

between the coats

Then I added the hooks at the bottoms. I used a sharp, pointed knife to make the hole and then twisted them with my fingers. Fingers were sore, so I had to do a few punctures every day for a few days.

I am so glad it was done. I guess I'm looking for antiques to find another tray next week :)
