A few weeks ago I mentioned working with some new ropes, but I could not go into details. I worked with Spud & Chloe on a great project and now I am going to write about this great spinning experience ... a kind of mini review.
I bought some thin yarn or socks and decided to bring it to the list to wrap it in balls. I also wanted to meet its owner Ruth. He does not wear gloves and I knew it would be interesting to see him, touch him and touch him. Ruth was busy with other clients, so she designed a self-rotating mechanism for me.
I started to bend it to the ball and was pleasantly surprised when I saw that neither the stick nor the sticks were broken. This is great for our weavers. We all know how nervous it is to pick threads and deal with breakage and knots when working on a project.
I must say that my experience with this thread was fantastic. First of all, I like weight. I like to work with thin rope or with a finger. You can use it for anything ... socks, clothes, bikini, bags, anything. I think it is perfect for dresses like sweaters. You will not end up with heavy or tight fabrics that make socks.
The texture of Spud & Chloe Fine is really beautiful. There are no thin / thick spots on the skin. This applies to every row. Remember I do five things here, not one. All are consistent.
Another important feature is the section. We all know how nervous it is to touch a broken rope. It can really slow down the hook. There is no separation in this thread.
The colors are also stylish. I do not think my small or photographic skills support colors.
As you can see, I love this thread. I will definitely use it again. I hope my list will bring this up in the future.
