Just Another Sock Monkey Hat Pattern

All week I wanted to write about my life's interest and anything that I hadn't crochet-related. But I understand one thing... my life is pretty boring. I have nothing to blog. I'm on Twitter and I only talk about crochet. I really need life I think :D

With that in mind, I decided to release my own Sock Monkey hat sampler. I used another pattern to make this hat and it turned out fine. But this time I decided to make this hat with a new pattern. I love my little labels and the way things are done.

Ingredients
1 skein of loose yarn (I used Jiffy Lion Brand yarn in Camel Spray)
Red, white and a little black wire
Work sizes H and I.
thread needle
2 buttons

To measure
The photo size is suitable for ages 4-12.
This pattern is easy to modify to any size
I use bulk weight. If you decide to go with combed beans, you will get a small or small hat

I forgot to pick up the daisies before shipping but the weave was a bit tight. If you work more freely, this hat is suitable for adults.

Model

Hooked and White, Chapter 3

Round 1: 7c. in the 3rd secondary of the crochet (which is done in paragraph 1) Connects with sl. at the beginning of the first century. (8 hdc)

Route 2: Chapter 2 (counts as the first m here and for all). Hdc on the same road. 2 g in each paragraph approx. Connect with mc. (16 hdc)

Act 3: see 2. GTM in the same article, GTM in the next article (2 htr on next p., htr on next p.) approx. Connect with mc. (24 HDC).

Circle 4: 2 vp., vpn in n. the same, ext. over the next 2 m (2 m in the next paragraph, paragraphs on the next 2 m) approx. Connect with mc. (32cc).

Row 5: 2 sts, hh in same paragraph, hh in next 3 sts (2 sts in next paragraph, paragraph in next 3 sts) purl. articulate. (40cc).

6th row: 2 vp., vp. in the same paragraph, vp. in next 4 sts (2 sts in next paragraph, paragraphs in next 4 sts) approx.

Rnd 9: Using camel stitch with sl st and ch 2. Hdc in next st and each st around. Connect with mc.

Series 10-17: 2 vp., vp. in each surrounding paragraph, connect with sn. don't finish

listeners

1 the same paragraph and in the next 10 paragraphs turn (11 sbn)

1 tsp, 2 tbsp together, nabn in next 9 tbsp, twist (10 tbsp)

1 tsp, 2 tbsp together, nabn in next 8 tbsp, twist (9 tbsp)

Repeat this subtraction method until you are done sewing.

second helmet

Holding the RS beanie, jump 17m from the first row of newly made earmuffs.

Sew with sn. and 1 tbsp. in the same paragraph and for the next round 10. (11 Mb).

Work on this group first, but don't finish when you've completed the last row.

You will work in the round in dc all over the hat. Place 11 balls evenly on each side of the ear and 3 balls in each corner. Complete.

Thread the red yarn through each corner, leaving the tail long enough to use as part of the braid. Work some DC around the lid. Don't forget to put 3 SBN in each corner. Finish by leaving the tail long enough to use as part of the braid. (I like the way the weaving ends)

Blocked
part 14
First row: nakida in the second vp from the hook, nakida in the next 11 vp, 3 nakida in the last vp. Working on the other side of the chain, draw the following 11 pieces. 2 MB in the last chat. Do not join.
Round 2: 2 nakida in first paragraph, nakida in next 11 sts, 2 nakida in each of next 3 sts nabn in next 12 sts 2 NBN in next paragraph, do not connect.
Round 3: 2 nakida in first paragraph, next 14 sts of 2 nabn in next 3 sts, nakida in next 14 sts 2 nakida in next paragraph, nakida in last paragraph
Use your favorite custom finish, leaving the tail long enough to sew. (Finally, see the manual on big hats)

Ear
Switch to H crochet and hold the 2 camels together. tight weave

part 3
Row 1: 7 TVA 3 m from the hook, cable. (8 hdc)
2nd line: 2 VP, NPV in the first paragraph, 2NPV in each article. (16 hdc)
Finish leaving the tail long enough to sew

knitting
Cut nine threads on each side. You should already have 1 strand (start and end tail) for one side

Make a pompom and sew it on the hat.

Using the photo as a reference, sew the eyes and mouth to the hat. When sewing, sew only the top layer of the seam on the hat so that the back looks nice and neat.

Using red, put a smile on the funnel. I played it several times to make it look like what I wanted. I did this after everything was sewn in place. I pushed each end of my tail into the bottom of the camel's hat. (If you don't like this method, you can always sew a smile on with a yarn needle. In the photos of Ireland on the hat, there is a smile sewn on like this. Then I took it out and I 've used a uni stitch to make it smooth and clean)

As always, you can leave me a comment or message me if you need help. I wrote that pretty quickly, so there might be a mistake. I hope not, but please let me know. I check my messages several times a day.

The good times!
